Card/Sketch of the Month

Come Join us the first Thursday of each month anytime between 2pm and 7pm (whatever works best for you) to learn some new ideas. Each month the teacher will have a new sketch for you and several samples of what she has done with the sketch for you to see. You will receive enough cardstock and patterned paper to make at least 3-4 cards (maybe more). So get the kids to school or camp and meet your friends at the store while you learn some new ideas for your cards or layout - this is the place to be! Please be sure to bring your own supplies as you will be making the card(s) with the teacher unless you want to take them home to make them. If you do not bring your own supplies you will be charged an additional fee to take the class. We are now asking if you plan on coming for this class or requesting a kit, please call the store and let us know by the day before so we know how much paper to pull and how much of the embellishments to bring so we don't run short. You don't have to pay ahead of time (unless it's a kit), we just need to know who is coming - just for this class.

G45 Paper Bag Album

Create this unique Paper Bag Album with suitcase using the new Graphic 45 line Tropical Travelogue Collection.

This is a unique album stored in a suitcase made from a recycle snack box.  We will be covering the suitcase in class but the inside will be done at home. We want to be able to create the paper bag mini and finish the outside of the suitcase.  We will be using vintage coffee burlap bags, jute twine, prima flowers, quilled fish, acetate, crystals,
QK dies, glossy accents and stickles.  This is a great album for the beach, cruise or any tropical vacation.  You can learn how to create this suitcase for other projects you may have, the possibilities are endless to theme your own suitcase.  You will be stickling your album at home
and I will give you the colors in class.  If you have tiny sea shells bring them to class to add to your pages.  You MUST bring a "Wheat Thin" (16 oz) box (9 1/2" x 6 3/4" x  2 1/4") with you to make the suitcase and I will email you how to prepare the box before class.  You will have to use scor-tape or red line tape to add to your box BEFORE class if we want to finish the majority of the suitcase.  With these sea creatures you will want to take this journey under the sea. Please bring black ink, at least 2 rolls of scor tape/red line tape, pop dots, beacon 3 in one glue and 1/2 inch glue dots. Please Note:  class will start promptly at 11:30  thanks!
