Classes

Classes are a great way to learn how to scrapbook, learn a new techniques and/or how to use new products. Students (except beginner classes) MUST bring their own basic tools to class, including a 12" trimmer, a pair of small scissors, scorer, adhesives (wet and dry), glue dots, pens, pencils, exacto knife with cutting mat and if available, chalks.

Check back around the 15^th of every month to see the new class listing for the following month.

On the day of your class, you will receive 10% off your purchases (except for future classes, crops and/or gift certificates).  All classes must be paid for at time of registration.  Most classes can be purchased as "kits to go" if you are unable to make the class.

Monthly Layout
LOM is taking a summer hiatus! In "honor" of this little vacation this month's class is "free" of charge! If you did not attend the last class, you can still pick up the paper at the store. The assignment is to use ANY of the techniques you have been taught over the past years and bring it to class on June 20th. We will have a little party that night. Watch the newsletter in September for a new and revamped class... Thank you for all of your support and kindness all these years

Introduction to Cricut Class
Do you have a Cricut machine and don't know what to do with it? Would you like to learn more about it?  Then this class is for you! We will show you how to change your blade, adjust the size of the objects you are cutting, make letters with shadows, and more!  At the end of this class you will have made all the elements needed to complete your own 2-page layout at home.  We have two cricut machines for the class to share, you may bring your own if you prefer.

Bucket of Sunshine Mini Album
Create this whimsical mini album shaped like a beach bucket using the new Carta Bella collection Beach Boardwalk. It has 7 pages that are able to hold 4x6 photos, each page has a pocket to add more photos or add journaling. We will be using sand, netting, quilling, floral wire, stickles and so much more. This album is great for beach, summertime, pool or vacation. This is a great album filled with lots of techniques that you can apply to any page.  Please bring to class: ink (frayed burlap), fast drying liquid glue, glue dots, pop dots, scor tape, crop-o-dile, and stickles (paprika, crystal and lime green).

BBQ Tear Bear Layout
Create this whimsical 2 page layout using Best Creations "Barbeque" collection. In this class I will teach you how to create 14! Yes, I said 14 mats on this 2 page layout. This technique is great to use for holidays, birthdays, weddings, really any occasion where you have a lot of photos in two ways. Please bring to class: water brush, glue dots, pop dots, cutter, tape runner as well as two page protectors.

Mixed Medial Layout
More and more layouts are mixing texture, paints, metallics, mica and so much more. Here is your chance to learn how to make trees, your dies to become stamps, gesso, using dies other than the way they are intended and so much more. This class will be messy so be sure to wear something you don't mind getting paint on. We will be creating two 12 x 12 layout using Authentique's new collection "Summer One". These cool aqua's, teal and yellow combo is great for summer, beach, vacation or any water photos. You will learn so many techniques in this class that you will be able to use in your mini books, canvas, cards or any other creations you want to make. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited and no kits are available as this is a hands on learning class. Please bring to class: pop dots, tape runner, Dylusions spray brown, teal ink, Tim's Broken China, and Stickles waterfall and lime green.

Authentique Book
I have left this book with “no name” because you can fill it with anything you want.
