Swap Group

Scrappers Cove has started a Swap Group - below are some of the recent items.

A recent swap was a Card Swap and you had to use Blackberry and Limeade Bazzill Cardstock but could use additional colors as well.

Last month we changed things up a little and decided to do a 6x6 Recipe Card Swap. The theme was Summer Foods and each person had to use Sunbeam Bazzill cardstock and June Bling on the page but may add additional colors and patterns to embellish the page. They brought the completed cards along with the dish for sampling - everything was delicious!

This month we are going to continue with the Recipe Swap.  Each person will make twelve 6x6 pages with a Summer Food Recipe on it and also embellish the page. You must use Heather and Sprout Bazzill cardstock on the page but may add additional colors and patterns to embellish the page.

This swap is closed. We will meet at Scrappers Cove on Friday, July 11th at 7pm with your finished Recipe Cards and a sample of your recipe for your fellow swappers to taste.  At that time we will pick the new theme and categories for the next month's swap. Please remember to come hungry and bring to go containers to take home all the delicious food!!

What is a swap?
Each person will make 12 of the same item (example - 12 birthday cards) and return them to Scrappers Cove.  We will sort them out and when you return to pick them up, you will have your own item plus 9 others.  This is no obligation to do more than 1 month but you are more than welcome to do as many as you like.  Each month will have a different theme and color scheme.  All items must be homemade and embellished.   Remember to produce items you would be proud to put into your own albums. Please put you name on the finished products so everyone will know who created them.
