Swap Group

Scrappers Cove has started a Swap Group - below is a recent sample.

Each person made six 6x6 pages with a One dish Recipe on it and also embellished the page. The Bazzill cardstock colors were Bazzill white, Kisses and Admiral which you must have used at least one color but may use all of the colors and may also use add additional colors and patterns to embellish the page. They also choose to use a patterned paper from Best Creations for this swap - look how great the cards came out!

For JUNE we continued the Recipe Swap. Each person made a 6x6 page with an Taste of the Tropics recipe - something you would drink or eat at a Beach Party! on it and also embellished the page. The Bazzill Cardstock colors are Mexican Poppy and Princess; and the Coredination Cardstock color is Kiwi which you must use at least one color but may use all the colors and may also use add additional colors and patterned paper and embellishments to decorate the page. 

We will meet at Scrappers Cove on the second Friday of the month (however we have taken the summer off), with your finished Recipe Cards and a sample of your recipe for your fellow swappers to taste.  At that time we will pick the new theme and categories for the next month's swap. Please remember to come hungry and bring to go containers to take home all the delicious food!

Email, call or stop by the the store to register. I will update with first names as people sign up.  Please remember that if you sign up it is a commitment to bring both your recipe and the cards as the past few months several people have not attended after they have signed up.

What is a swap?
Each person will make 10 of the same item (example - 10 Halloween cards) and return them to Scrappers Cove.  We will sort them out and when you return to pick them up, you will have your own item plus 9 others.  This is no obligation to do more than 1 month but you are more than welcome to do as many as you like.  Each month will have a different theme and color scheme (if one is chosen).  All items must be homemade and embellished.   Remember to produce items you would be proud to put into your own albums. Please put you name on the finished products so everyone will know who created them.
